The Kingdom has charged us with the task of devising a document and procedures to
facilitate the swift and easy selection of a new Baron/Baroness. This does NOT mean
that Baroness Godelind is going to step down any time soon, if ever. Instead,
this is only to have a procedure already agreed to and set in place, now, so that if
someday Her Excellency does decide to step down, we won't then be bickering about how to
go about things...
It is also worth noting that Thor's Mountain is the last barony to
setup any such procedure and the Crown would be happier knowing that we are as prepared
for all eventualities.

To that end, the Baronial Succession Committee has thought, ruminated, met, pondered,
and drank on this subject for the last year and we have come up with the following Policy
and Procedures.
Please review this as the Baronial Populace assembled and voted to adopt this as Baronial Policy. It has been sent off to the Crown for
Royal approval.
